Life is one big transition. Birth, Life, Death, and Rebirth...a continuous cycle. We are constantly shifting and changing day to day, week to week, year to year. Changes can be something like going from sleeping to waking, from changing our routines, or outdated patterning. Changes can come in the form of a new baby, a new marriage, or a new job; and they can also be divorce, death, health issues, substance abuse, and/or a sudden move. Inherent in every change is a level of questioning, grief, worry, and concern both internal and external. Change can be exciting and it can also be terrifying. I do believe change can be a wonderfully empowering catalyst to growth and healing.
I believe that you are your best healer and your process of healing is unique to you as an individual. I believe healing to be a remembering and encountering with your inherent wholeness that encompasses every dimension of your being. It is my hope to offer a space for your own observation of your life and discover how you'd like to expand and grow.
In the field of mental health we are learning a lot more about trauma and our own inner healing intelligence. Just as our body might heal a wound our brain, hearts, souls, and nervous systems can heal from traumatic events. Just as you'd need to keep the wound clean and provide it time to heal we now know more about optimal therapies that act as the ointment to heal our Soul wounds. I'm grateful to be trained in EMDR as a trauma therapy technique as well as ketamine assisted psychotherapy.
